BEWARE!

During the early hours of this morning (9th July) at approximately 3.30 a.m., an upstairs flat in Ableton Court was broken into.  A purse with money in it was taken, and papers looked through.  Although shaken, the resident, who is on medication, slept through it all, but is obviously very upset.  This was an upstairs flat, so a ladder must have been used.  DID YOU SEE ANYTHING?  Be wary about leaving windows open at night, even on very hot nights(?), try and lock the window on its smallest setting. This is the second robbery, or attempted robbery that has happened between the hours of 3 and 3.30 am within the week, so if you are awoken by a strange noise around that time, look out  to see if anything is happening near you.  PLEASE BE A GOOD NEIGHBOUR AND CHECK ANY STRANGE NOISES IN THE NIGHT.

These are the only crime figures that I have received from NHW at Staple Hill. No doubt Daryl will have more to add.

New Passage Road - Army cadets buildings broken into, a computor and 2 televisions taken.

Severn Beach - on 26/06/07 a passenger window was smashed on a motorhome.  A Laptop computor, C.D.'s and torch was stolen.

Church Road, Severn Beach - an attempt to get into an unoccupied house was made during the hours of 10.30 to 12.30 on 12/06/07. Fortunately they did not succeed.
