HORSE OWNERS BEWARE!

During Saturday afternoon, 26th May, mucking out equipment was stolen from stables in Little Green Lane.

During Saturday 26th May and Sunday 27th May, nightime, a new Bennington Show Cart, worth approx. £2,500 was stolen from premises at Berwick Lane, Easter Compton.

Severn Beach Neighbourhood Watch is pleased to be associated with Horse Watch for our Local Area, and would ask all residents to help Horse Watch as well as Neighbourhood Watch. Both residents and members of Horse Watch are welcome to attend our meetings. I also urge you to  attend the next meeting of Severnside Safer and Stronger Community Group which is being held at Easter Compton Village Hall on Thursday 7th June, 2007 beginning at 7.30p.m.

****WARNING****
Last night, Friday 18th May/Sat 19th May, approximately 6 cars were damaged in Beach Road, Severn Beach. Several had doors bent back, attempts were made to remove radios, etc., and 1 which was on the owners drive, had its side window smashed. This is a warning that thieves and vandals are about and a reminder that you must remove any valuables from your car. It happened at approximately 3 am, and a car was heard speeding off. No other details.

60m of Stainless Steel Railings Gone Missing on Severn Beach Seawall
Approx 60m stainless steel safety railings disappear at  Severn Beach "Binn Wall" near Second Severn Crossing during the hours of darkness two days ago.

Very distinctive railing worth circa £30,000

WARNING - GARAGE BREAK-INS - WARNING

Between 7th and 8th of May a garage break-in was attempted in Gorse Cover Road.  Fortunately this time they did not gain access, but all over our Parish people are breaking (or attempting to) into sheds and garages. Please make sure your garage and/or shed is locked and if possible some form of alarm fitted.

Crime Figures - April 2007

These are the Crime Figures received from Staple Hill for April 2007 in our Area.

Severn Beach Gorse Cover Road - 3 crimes - 2 where locks on sheds were broken - nothing stolen, 1 where locks on a garage were cut and tools stolen.  Prospect Road - Theft of motor vehicle - already reported in detail on Page 2 of this website. Station Road - Assault - already reported in detail on Page 2 of this website.

Pilning Redwick Road, Locks broken on garage, Playstation and other property stolen. Keens Grove - entry gained to insecure garage and property stolen from unlocked car inside. Chessell Avenue - Entry to garage - already reported in detail on Page 2 of this web site.Cross Hands Road - Assault - already reported in detail on Page 2 of this web site.

Central Avenue (main entrance to Terra/ Astra  Zeneca. - ICI Club entry gained by smashing window - fruit machines forced open and money stolen.
