Location of incident: Westbury Village, Bristol
Case reference: EM396_06
Location of incident: Westbury Village, Bristol
Date of incident: 5 March 2006
Number of people involved: 2

Details:
We are trying to identify two men who we think may be able to help with our enquiries into a case of grievous bodily harm with intent which occurred in Bristol.

On the 5 March 2006 at 5.00pm, our victim attended the Foresters Arms Public House, Westbury Village, Bristol in company with his friend.
He was invited to join two unknown males at their table. The victim's friend left shortly after and our victim stayed with these males until closing time.

Our victim invited these males back to his home address on Falcondale Road, Westbury on Trym for more drinks. Once at the address, the unknown males started to make a noise and disturbed the other residents. For this reason they were asked to leave. The males didn't like the fact they were being asked to leave and one of the males produced a knife. The males attacked the residents and one resident received a chipped tooth and was stabbed in his toe, another resident was slashed across his chest and received treatment at hospital.

Both males made off on foot up Falcondale Road and along Downs Cote Avenue.

The males are described as:

1) A white male, 30-40 years, large build, 6', short dark-coloured hair and a goatee beard in the same colour, wearing a black bomber jacket and dark coloured bottoms,
2) A white male, 30-40 years, 5' '7'', slim build, tanned complexion, very short hair, wearing a red T-shirt with a grey horizontal stripe and tracksuit bottoms. He had a tattoo on the back of the neck, from ear to ear, dark coloured individual letters.

When they left the pub, the males were carrying a wreath believed to have come from the cenotaph in Westbury villagep; they had this item whilst in the pub.

I'm appealing for witnesses that were drinking in the pub that day, saw these males in the area and when they left the victim's address.

Anyone with any information should contact Crimestoppers immediately.
