An attempt was made to steal a VW Transporter on 29th July at 23.50hours. It was parked at Station Road, Severn Beach, with a wheel clamp on it (owners) the wheel clamp was cut off and the alarm activated. Fortunately van not stolen. Did you see anything regarding this incident, if so please report it to the Police.

Worry no more, you can now check by phoning 08001691144 and they will confirm the identity of the caller. All we want now is all the other companies to follow suit. Remember if you are not sure, DO NOT LET THEM IN.

Motor Bikes, Motor Bikes Motor Bikes...
are the bain of residents lives at the moment MEMBER reported he had two near misses with motor bikes pulling out in front of his car, MEMBER reported bikes are coming from the field over the iron bridge and on to the grass where young children are playing by the flats at the back of Ableton Court, MEMBER reported three bikes being ridden fast down the footpath between Victoria Crescent and Ableton Lane and a lad riding without a helmet on the pavement in Victoria Crescent and MEMBER reported a motor bike riding the wrong way over the junction and on down Church Road.and a noisy bike going up and down Church Road.

It was suggested we might approach residents with CCTV cameras to identify the culprits.

We are asked to report all incidents and take licence plate details if possible in the hope that if the police get piles of complaints they come and see what the problem are.

Peter Tyzack will look into the possibility of having the gate replaced on the iron bridge.

There has been a warning about two cars hanging around outside Pilning School one yellow and one silver, we are asked to be watchful.

On 11 -12 July between the hours of 2200 - 0700 in Ableton Lane, Severn |Beach, patio doors were found opened at a property. The TV was disconnected and moved to the doorway but not stolen. A purse was found on the patio and a small amount of money plus a remote control was taken.  Would all residents within our area please check and review their security.

On 30th June in Albert Road, Severn Beach between 23.00 and 4.00 hours, unknown offenders removed 5 fence panels from victims garden. The victim lives in an end house and the fence ran in a crescent from the front to the rear.
