NOT A TAX REBATE!!
Please be aware that you may receive an e-mail supposedly from the Tax Office saying that they owe you money. DO NOT OPEN. It is a scam (of course it is, the Tax Office would never refund money, or would they?) to try and get your bank details. ALWAYS ignore e-mails requiring you to give your bank details otherwise you might find an empty bank account. Report all such instances to the Police or Bank.

URGENT - MORE CAR PROBLEMS

In the early hours of today (22nd December) in Gorse Cover Road, 2 'Hoodies' broke the passenger door lock of a Peugot? when attempting to break into it. This happened at approximately 1 a.m. Also overnight from Abbotts Road a Ford Transit holding expensive tools was taken.  The thieves(or thief) broke into the house and took the keys to the Transit from the hall table.

IT APPEARS THAT SEVERN BEACH IS BEING TARGETTED - PLEASE REMOVE ANY ITEMS FROM YOUR VEHICLE(S) AND KEEP THE KEYS SAFE.

Watch out! Car thieves about!!
Twice now on a Thursday, people have either tried to take cars or else have damaged them trying to get into them. The first attempt was when persons (unknown) cut the house alarm wires in an attempt to gain entry and take the keys to the 2 cars parked outside, this happened in Ableton Lane. Last Thursday, a Ford Ranger was damaged in Beach Road.  Please be alert. Do not leave any valuables in your car, especially on view. Keep your car keys well away from the front door and not in sight of a window. At this time of celebration, if you are at a party DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE. Alas already 111 people have been caught. My best wishes to you all, for Christmas and the New Year.

CRIME REDUCTION

Severn Beach | Neighbourhood Watch Group

We believe there is no point in reinventing the wheel.

So rather than duplicating the already quality advice that is already available on crime reduction techniques we have provided a link to the Avon & Somerset Police website that has comprehensive section on this subject.
